A Bit About Me...Hello!
I'm Corinne and this is SeptemberHouse. In 2008 I made the exciting decision to launch a brand new home for modern hand embroidery called SeptemberHouse. It's been an ideal place to explore my creative ideas and a great way to get to know the needlecraft community. I've learned so much from fellow stitchers about what they need and want to make their embroidery experience the best it can be. Their feedback and inspiration are essential to me as a product designer. I hope you will be inspired as you browse through SeptemberHouse and if any questions pop up along the way please feel free to contact me, I'd love to chat with you! |
About Corinne |
On most days you can find me in stitching up something brand new, snapping photos of a finished piece or sketching up new ideas for a future project. When I am not SeptemberHouse-ing I love spending time with my husband and two sons, gardening, reading, running and enjoying Minnesota's beautiful Twin Cities.

History |
Since starting out in 2008 with just three items on my shop shelves, SeptemberHouse has blossomed into a creative resource for anyone who loves embroidery. In the earliest years I started my blog, So September so that I could share ideas, insights and projects with fellow crafters. That blog still continues today offering tutorials, free pattern downloads and behind-the-scenes looks at my work.
Along the way I have also had the pleasure of working with a number of publications such as Good Housekeeping Magazine, The Ladies Home Journal, Country Living, Hoop-La!, Stitch-it Today, Simply Handmade Sewing and Just Cross Stitch Magazine. My work can also be seen in the book, Mastering the Art of Embroidery by Sophie Long and in craft kits from DMC. |
